General Guidelines

  • Your submission must be original and unpublished. Plagiarized or duplicated content will be rejected.
  • Articles should focus on news-based topics, including current events, culture, lifestyle, tech news, or similar categories.
  • We prioritize informative, engaging, and well-researched content that provides value to our readers.
  • Word Count: Minimum 1000 words; concise, well-structured content is preferred.

Formatting Requirements

  • Use short paragraphs (3–4 sentences) to ensure readability.
  • Include subheadings (H2, H3) to break up the content and organize it clearly.
  • Use bullet points or numbered lists where appropriate.
  • Avoid promotional language or excessive self-promotion.

Citations and Sources

  • Use credible sources to back up any claims or statistics in your article.
  • Include hyperlinks to relevant sources where necessary (maximum 3 external links).

Linking Policy

  • We allow 1 no-follow backlink to your website or personal blog. The link must be relevant to the article and add value to the reader’s experience.
  • No affiliate links, promotional links, or links to low-quality/spammy websites will be accepted.

Content Ownership and Edits

  • Once your article is accepted and published, it becomes the property of NewYork Time Today.
  • We reserve the right to edit your content for grammar, style, and clarity.

Submission Process

  • Send your article in Word or Google Docs format to jessicamellor@gmail.com.
  • Include a brief author bio (50–100 words) and a headshot (optional).
  • We will review your submission within 7 business days and notify you of its status.

What We Do Not Accept

  • Content that is promotional, heavily biased, or offensive.
  • Articles already published elsewhere.
  • Posts that promote illegal activities, hate speech, or discriminatory content.

Author Credit

We love giving our contributors the recognition they deserve! Your article will include your author bio and a link to your website (no-follow).
